Job Summary:
VantagePoint Alliance is seeking skilled and certified Termination Technicians with specific expertise in Pfisterer terminations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing high-voltage cable terminations on heavy industrial machinery, ensuring reliable and safe electrical connections in demanding environments. This role is critical to the successful operation and maintenance of electrical systems on industrial job sites, including those in power generation, petrochemical, and manufacturing sectors.
Pay Rate: up to $50 based on having the Pfisterer Certification and experience
Per Diem: $150/ day for 7 days
Hours: 55+
Duration: 3+ months
Key Responsibilities:
Perform terminations using Pfisterer products, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Execute high-voltage cable preparation, installation, and testing for heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to termination work.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of termination components to prevent damage or faults.
Adhere to site-specific safety standards, electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE), and OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and site supervisors to coordinate work schedules and resolve technical challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and test results.
Inspect and troubleshoot existing terminations and provide maintenance or repair as required.
Conduct or assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems.
Participate in quality control inspections and audits as necessary.
Qualifications:
Pfisterer Termination Certification (Required)
Proven experience with Pfisterer terminations in heavy industrial or high-voltage environments
Minimum [3�5] years of experience in electrical termination or related roles
Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, safety protocols, and best practices
Familiarity with testing equipment such as insulation resistance testers, hipot testers, and TDRs
Ability to travel to various job sites and work in physically demanding environments
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Valid driver�s license; ability to pass background check and drug screening
