Possibility of Hire or Contract Extension
Must be local to the worksite.
Responsibilities:
Perform onsite field research to gather necessary information for single-line diagrams and floor plans of electrical devices and building electrical infrastructure.
Electrical devices include switchgear, switchboards, panels, disconnects, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
Take photographs of electrical devices and building electrical infrastructure.
Assist with scheduling off-hour and weekend shutdowns to perform work.
Work will require occasional off-hour and weekend work.
Develop single-line diagrams and floor plans of electrical infrastructure and electrical devices in buildings.
Perform electrical assessments of buildings.
Prepare electrical assessment reports, including all necessary photographs.
Link assessments to pictures and floor plans.
Perform life safety, code compliance, and deficiency assessments.
Populate life safety, code compliance, and deficiency tracking files.
Label equipment with incoming voltage/amp labels, feed labels, etc.
Trace wiring.
Identify overloaded circuits and conduits.
Identify grounding issues.
Develop panel schedules.
Perform minor electrical upgrades, such as adding wire nuts to exposed electrical connections, outlet covers, junction box covers, panel hole covers, breaker covers, etc.
Input projects into the Client�s facility database for future project planning.
