We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Supervisor to lead and coordinate fabrication operations in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom fabrication, team leadership, and production planning, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and ensure timely, high-quality output
Experienced supervisor of 30 direct reports with a track record of performance and team development
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of fabrication teams including welders, plumbing, electrical technicians, and assemblers.
Interpret engineering drawings (P&ID), blueprints, and technical specifications for custom-built products.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to resolve design and production issues.
Monitor and optimize workflow, material usage, and labor efficiency.
Train and mentor team members on fabrication techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with lean manufacturing principles.
Expected to be on the production floor 90% of the day, and have the technical skills to coach and guide team members
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of supervisory experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of fabrication processes including welding, cutting, forming, and machining.
