Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Wireman with Substation experience for an immediate start in Immokalee, FL

PAY: $27-$33/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 12-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/ week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday. 6:30 am-7:00 PM
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3+ months

We are seeking an experienced Wireman with Substation experience to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with strong electrical skills who are comfortable working with high-voltage equipment in utility and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

Install, connect, and terminate wiring, conduits, and panels in substation environments.

Assist with installation and maintenance of transformers, breakers, switches, and control equipment.

Read and interpret substation drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Pull wire and cable through conduit, raceways, and underground duct banks.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical circuits and equipment.

Follow all OSHA and electrical safety procedures for high-voltage environments.

Work with crews to ensure the timely completion of substation projects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Wireman in commercial/industrial or utility settings.

Substation experience (including terminations, transformers, breakers, and control wiring) is�required.

Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and substation schematics.

Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, and high-voltage safety standards.

Skilled with hand tools, conduit benders, and electrical test equipment.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual labor.

Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves

Additional Requirements for Wireman:

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
