Capacity expansion distribution and cable project programs.
6 or 7 programs that are key to maintaining distribution system and modernizing grid. Driving large scale capital projects.
Voltage optimization, system cable, capacity projects, system performance programs, and utility advancement.
The team is growing as we have seen increase in project activity.
Key Responsibilities:

Looking for a PM to drive results.
Utility project management role. Skilled with construction and engineering.
Oversee large scale projects across the programs from engineering design phase to construction.
Could be multiple construction scopes. Project scattered throughout service territory, the northern 3rd of Illinois.
Responsible from beginning to the end. Initiating contracts.
Someone with experience working with electrical grid. Familiar with transmission operation is ideal
Required Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience working around an electric grid and be familiar with those concepts like construction work, overhead to underground. Understanding of engineering design.
Large projects with values up to 5 million dollars so it is important to have technical bandwidth to perform with that level of budget. Experience with large-scale projects
Double E in electrical engineering.
Experience managing contractors
Experience with RFPs
Forecasting experience
PMP is very valuable. Very much preferred but not required
Strong construction background
