Energy Efficiency Program Support Manager
Role Overview
This is a individiual contributor role responsible for managing external vendors delivering energy efficiency programs. The manager ensures programs run smoothly, meet business and regulatory requirements, and deliver a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise employees and oversee vendor performance (both office and field).
Ensure compliance with safety standards, business controls, and regulatory requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams (Customer Care, Contracting, Procurement, Legal, Marketing, IT, etc.) to support program delivery and resolve issues.
Develop, implement, and improve processes for energy efficiency program execution.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met.
Review and process invoices accurately.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership.
Support special projects and storm restoration efforts as needed.
Foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field and 7+ years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields.
(In lieu of a degree: 11+ years of relevant experience.)
Experience managing vendors and leading cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Energy Efficiency or Electric Vehicle programs.
Leadership experience in program or project management.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification.
MBA or advanced degree.
