We are seeking experienced Mechanical Superintendents with strong backgrounds in heavy industrial, oil & gas/OGC, or power generation to support multiple large-scale projects across the U.S. This is a long-term opportunity with significant growth potential and consistent project pipeline through 2026.

Position Overview

The Mechanical Superintendent will provide field leadership, hands-on mechanical oversight, and day-to-day coordination of craft and subcontractor activities. Ideal candidates bring a track record of 10+ years in mechanical construction roles such as Foreman, Crew Lead, or Superintendent, and are comfortable working on the tools when needed.

This is not a Construction Manager position—the client prefers individuals who remain active in the field and have demonstrated longevity in prior roles.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee mechanical construction activities for heavy industrial, OGC, or power projects.

Provide daily leadership to craft labor; mentor and guide crews to maintain productivity and safety.

Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and site leadership to meet scheduling and quality expectations.

Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, site policies, and industry best practices.

Maintain accurate reporting, project documentation, and progress tracking.

Act as a hands-on leader—comfortable assisting with mechanical tasks when required.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of mechanical field experience (Foreman, Mechanical Lead, Superintendent, or similar).

Background in heavy industrial, OGC, or power generation projects.

Experience with large EPCs, GCs, OEMs, or Utilities preferred.

Demonstrated stability and longevity in past roles (limited job-hopping).

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lead by example.

US Citizenship required.

Willingness to travel anywhere in the U.S.
