Position Summary:
Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of three facilities, primarily based in Lakewood, NJ, with occasional travel to Rising Sun, MD. Reports to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage plant operations, startup/shutdown, and maintenance activities.

Ensure safety procedures are followed and corrective actions taken.

Develop and improve operations, maintenance, environmental, and safety programs.

Monitor operational data, maintain records, and manage plant chemistry.

Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and outage planning.

Develop standard procedures and supervise operations technicians.

Assist with budgets, recruitment, employee development, and vendor coordination.

Ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance across facilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.

5-10 years of plant operations experience.

NJ Black Seal license required.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and operations systems.

First Aid & CPR certified.

Proficient in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and data analysis.

Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
