Job Description
Seeking a scheduler with strong EPC project delivery knowledge and a solid understanding of project controls—scheduling, estimating, cost management, procurement, and business development—specifically within high-voltage substation projects. Candidates should have 5–10 years of engineering or construction scheduling experience and full lifecycle exposure to substation work. Advanced expertise in Primavera (P6) is required.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, analytical problem solver with excellent communication skills across project managers, superintendents, engineers, procurement, and subcontractors. Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Must be self-driven, adaptable, and able to foster strong cross-functional teamwork.
Responsibilities (Rewritten & Shortened)
Develop, update, and present Primavera project schedules.
Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedule accuracy.
Promote schedule use as a core project management tool—not just a visual.
Understand schedule logic and validate reasoning behind activity sequencing.
Review schedules to identify missing activities, logic errors, and needed adjustments.
Perform time-impact analyses with the project manager.
Support schedule narratives, change orders, and related documentation.
Accurately incorporate delays and changes into the schedule.
Provide monthly schedule metrics and reporting.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and sales to complete scheduling inputs.
Confirm contract milestones are properly reflected in the schedule.
Track and document events that affect schedule, scope, or project performance.
