Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a chemical manufacturing plant in Mobile, AL, responsible for executing capital projects and providing hands-on technical support to manufacturing and maintenance operations. This plant-level role leads mechanical design and project execution from concept through commissioning, including scope development, cost estimating, contractor management, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation, while coordinating with production and cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and brings 7-10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to capital projects, equipment maintenance, piping systems, and P&IDs.
