Our client is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer to lead a small team designing smart grid products. You'll develop microprocessor-based controllers for power distribution automation capacitor controls, source transfer controls, switchgear controls, electronic fuses, and peer-to-peer feeder restoration systems. Responsibilities include conceptual and detailed design, testing and validation, supporting production builds, and contributing to documentation, packaging, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a bachelor's in electrical engineering (or equivalent), 7-10 years of hands-on electromechanical product experience, circuit board and 3D CAD expertise, and knowledge of IEC/UL/CSA/NEMA/NEC standards.
