Job Title: Construction Manager – Overhead & Underground Distribution (Urgent Need)

Position Overview

We have an urgent need for a Construction Manager with significant experience in overhead and underground direct distribution systems to support our client, Tampa Electric, in an on-site capacity. The ideal candidate must be available to start immediately (within the week).

This role requires strong expertise in construction evaluation within overhead and underground electric distribution environments, along with the flexibility to adapt as project logistics are finalized.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and evaluate construction activities related to overhead and underground distribution systems

Provide field-based construction management and quality oversight

Conduct construction evaluations and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards

Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and field crews

Identify risks, resolve field issues, and maintain project timelines

Ensure work meets applicable utility standards and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience with overhead and underground direct distribution systems

Strong background in construction evaluation within electric distribution

Proven experience in utility construction management

Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL

Immediate availability required

Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
