Journeyman Electrician – Industrial Project (NC)
An established industrial electrical contractor is hiring Journeyman Electricians for a large‑scale project in the Charlotte/Gastonia, NC area.
Pay & Schedule:
* $32.31/hour
* 6x10s once fully mobilized
* Project ramps up mid–late March
* Long‑term project with steady hours
* 5 electricians needed to start, expanding to 10 total
What They're Looking For:
* 4–5+ years of industrial electrical experience (no residential)
* Solid understanding of electrical theory and basic NEC
* Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
Experience with:
* Conduit installation (underground & above ground)
* Wire pulling
* Panel terminations
Need:
* Own hand tools
* Reliable transportation
* Ability to lead a small crew if needed
* Journeyman or Master Electrician card preferred (cardholders may bypass assessment)
Safety Requirements:
* OSHA 10
* Hard hat with chin strap (non‑vented)
* Safety glasses
* Hi‑vis shirt/vest/jacket
* Steel or composite toe boots
* Long work pants (no shorts)
