The IC&E Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all instruments, control systems, and electrical equipment in a power plant and associated facilities. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on major equipment, motors, generators, transformers, switches, control systems, and electrical systems up to 18kV (with occasional work up to 230kV under direction), while ensuring safety compliance, accurate recordkeeping, and proper inventory management. The technician works closely with plant management and operations teams, prepares work orders and safety documentation, and supports emergency response and operational reliability. Candidates should have a high school diploma or AA degree (or equivalent experience), a minimum of 3 years in power plant operations or maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and travel as needed.
