Integral Energy Services client is currently seeking QA/QC Construction Oversight Support located in Chicago (Mid west- Lasalle and Calvert Cliff) for a 6 month contract-URGENT need!

* Electrical Engineering preferred
Approximately 6 months (commercial project)
Regional Coverage:
Midwest Chicago
Northeast Site support as required
Travel Expectation: Estimated 25to 40% travel depending on construction phase.
Purpose: The primary need is construction oversight with engineering literacy, serving as an owners field representative.
*Key Discussion Points:
* Active construction activities underway (e.g., equipment deliveries, foundation work, installation).
* Need for boots-on-the-ground presence to validate correct equipment delivery and observe construction execution.
* Ensure work aligns with issued drawings at a high level (not detailed engineering QC).
* Ensure adherence to client commercial policies and project expectations.
* Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and provide site representation.
* EPC contractor performs design and construction; performs OE review. This role supplements oversight from a field execution perspective.

Role Description: Construction Oversight Engineer

Role Summary:
Serve as clients field-aligned construction oversight representative supporting substation-related projects. The individual will provide field visibility, coordinate between engineering and construction, and ensure work aligns with project intent and commercial standards.

*Key Responsibilities:
Validate equipment deliveries and material conformity at site.
Observe foundation pours and major construction activities.
Perform high-level drawing conformance verification.
Ensure adherence to client policies and project requirements.
Act as liaison between engineering, construction, and client stakeholders.

Support and attend Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Provide periodic reporting and field updates.
Ideal Candidate Profile

*Physically located in Chicago (Mid west- Lasalle and Calvert Cliff)
*Physically located in North east area ( Byron & Limerick)

*Experience Level:
4 to 7 years of experience (mid-level engineer)
*Education:
Electrical Engineering preferred
*Technical Background:
Familiarity with transformers and transformer testing.
Experience with transformer-related design or plant integration.
Exposure to construction, testing, or commissioning activities (strong plus).

Commercial project not subject to nuclear NQA-1 requirements.
