Engineering Assistant (Senior Level)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Assistant with 10–15 years of professional experience supporting engineering leadership and project teams.

This role provides high-level administrative and project coordination support to engineering management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing documentation, communications, scheduling, and financial tracking activities to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation & Organization
Create, organize, and maintain project documentation including:
Engineering plans
Schedules
Budgets
Reports
Ensure all documentation is accurate, current, and accessible.
Maintain document control and version tracking.
Communication & Coordination
Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and contractors.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and status updates.
Assist with internal and external communications related to engineering projects.
Scheduling & Logistics
Coordinate meetings, site visits, and project-related events.
Support engineering management with calendar coordination.
Track and follow up on action items and milestones.
Budget & Financial Support
Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses.
Support preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
Track project cost data and highlight potential variances.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect and analyze project data to identify trends.
Prepare summary reports and recommendations based on analysis.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Required Qualifications
Accredited Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred).
10–15 years of experience in engineering administrative or project coordination roles.
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Project management software
Data analysis tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

Plant staff
