APS is currently looking for a Transmission Line Construction Oversight Manager for a 7+ month assignment.

Job Summary:
As the Transmission Line Construction Oversight Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the
successful execution of high-voltage electrical transmission line construction projects. Serving as the
owner's representative, you will oversee the construction process, coordinate with the project team, and
ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the project owner's interests and act as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related
matters
- Coordinate with the construction team to monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure
adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Ensure the construction work meets or exceeds all electrical safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including utility providers and regulatory authorities, to secure necessary
approvals and permits
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the construction team to optimize the project's electrical
systems and infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in electrical infrastructure projects, particularly in the oversight and management
of transmission line construction
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, construction methods, and project
management best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations

On-site role in Council Bluffs, IA.

Start - June 1, 2026

Per Diem - Yes

Mob/Demob - Reasonable travel expenses associated with mobilization and demobilization including the current IRS mileage rate per mile for personal vehicle, tolls, lodging (up to one night), meals (up to applicable daily GSA rate, receipts not required) and travel time each way

Schedule - 50-60+ hours per week

Duration - 7+ months
