Electrical Field Service Technician

Are you an experienced electrical testing professional looking to advance your career with a respected power systems organization?

We are seeking Electrical Field Service Technicians (Levels II - IV) to perform acceptance testing, maintenance testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and diagnostic services on medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment throughout the region.

What You'll Do
Perform field testing of electrical power equipment
Conduct acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning tests
Test and troubleshoot:
Power Transformers
Circuit Breakers
Protective Relays
Switchgear
Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
Cables and Associated Apparatus
Analyze test results and identify deficiencies
Prepare detailed field service reports and recommendations
Work safely in accordance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NETA, and client standards
Travel to customer sites as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
Hands-on electrical testing experience in power systems environments
Experience with medium- and/or high-voltage equipment
Ability to operate testing equipment such as:
Megger
Doble
Omicron
SEL
Doble M4000
Similar testing platforms
Strong troubleshooting and technical reporting skills
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
Preferred Qualifications
NETA Level II, III, or IV Certification
NICET Electrical Power Testing Certification
Military power-generation or electrical testing experience
Experience performing TTR, Power Factor, Relay, Breaker, and Insulation Resistance testing
Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply
