Hiring an Environmental Permitting Specialist to support electric transmission projects across North Carolina and South Carolina. Work includes preparing and submitting permits for substations and transmission line projects reviewing environmental reports and completing field assessments. Hybrid schedule with three days each week in office or field. Day travel across the Carolinas required using a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursed. Must have strong experience with North Carolina and South Carolina permitting including SWPPP floodplain and USACE 401 and 404 approvals. Must be able to read site plans and civil drawings. Background in environmental consulting biology ecology environmental science or civil or environmental engineering preferred. This is not an EHS role.
