Currently seeking an Energy Marshall for a data center project in Michigan City Indiana. Working 55 to 70 hours a week and the pay is 65.00 - 95.00 an hour based on exp with a daily per diem of 150.00

An energy marshal is a specialized safety and operations professional. They manage and authorize hazardous energy controls on large construction, data center, or high-tech manufacturing sites. They act as the central authority to prevent electrical and mechanical accidents before systems go live. [1, 2, 3]

Core Responsibilities
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Oversee and approve formal energy isolation and LOTO permits.

• Energy Verification: Confirm that complex electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems are completely de-energized before work begins.

• Commissioning Coordination: Manage step-by-step plans when powering up high-risk infrastructure like backup generators or switchgear.

• Safety Enforcement: Audit compliance, coach trade workers, and run safety briefings on-site.
