Superior Skilled Trades is seeking LICENSED Journeyman Electricians for a long term project in the Cedar Rapids, IA area.

LONG TERM! OVERTIME! $7,500 Sign-On-Bonus!

PAY: $65/hour
PER DIEM: $175/day (With Iowa License in Hand) per diem paid 7 days if you work all offered hours
$7,500 Retention Bonus paid out in the first 3 months
HOURS: 60 total weekly hours. Shifts will be six 10-hour workdays
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Saturday; 6:00 am-4:00 pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Multi-Year/Temp-to-Perm

Journeyman Electrician Job Description:

Experienced commercial electrician responsible for supporting the construction of a new data center facility. Primary duties include installing trapeze supports, assembling and installing prefab electrical components, and preparing infrastructure for large-scale electrical systems. Work includes both current tasks and upcoming phases, such as core & shell electrical installation, underground systems, and temporary power distribution.

Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician:

Iowa Journeyman Electrical license required (Or reciprocal license - Alaska ; Arkansas ; Colorado ; Minnesota ; Montana ; Nebraska ; New Hampshire ; North Dakota ; South Dakota ; Oklahoma ; Wisconsin ; Wyoming ; Texas)
OSHA 10 Required
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation and large-scale construction environments.
Proficient with hand and power tools, conduit bending, and installation hardware.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
Familiarity with prefab processes, materials, and jobsite logistics.
Pre-employment drug screening required
