Job Description
This role focuses on assembling valves in a clean, well-organized manufacturing environment. You begin with manual assembly tasks and may progress into semi-automatic and fully automatic assembly operations. The work is highly repetitive and requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and comfort using hand and power tools. You contribute directly to production quality and efficiency by assembling, operating machinery, and performing basic quality checks.
Responsibilities
* Perform manual assembly of valves, including hand-screwing bolts and inserting sleeves that resemble small bearings.
* Carry out repetitive assembly tasks with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Load valves into semi-automated cells and support robotic and fully automatic assembly processes as needed.
* Operate production machinery safely and efficiently, following all work instructions and procedures.
* Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth performance and address minor issues as they arise.
* Conduct basic quality checks on assembled valves, including visual inspection and measurement using calipers.
* Package assembled valves from the production line according to specified standards and requirements.
* Perform general labor duties in the production area as required to support overall workflow.
* Handle multiple types of tasks in production and adapt to different stations or processes as needed.
* Lift and move materials or products weighing up to 50 lbs in a safe manner.
Essential Skills
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an assembler in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Hands-on mechanical assembly experience, including working with small components.
* Proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong manual dexterity for small, detailed assembly work.
* Experience performing quality checks, including the use of calipers for measurement.
* Ability to perform very repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
* Capability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.
* Experience working in production environments and handling multiple different jobs or stations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Comfort working with semi-automated and robotic (semi-auto) assembly cells.
* Ability to learn and operate fully automatic assembly equipment.
* Strong focus on quality and adherence to established standards and procedures.
* Willingness to perform general labor tasks to support production operations.
* Adaptability to move between different assembly areas as required.
* Reliable work habits and a consistent, team-oriented approach.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
