Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $40-$60/hour, based on experience
Per Diem: Up to $5,000/month for qualified candidates (approximately $160/day)
Employment: Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week
Work Schedule: Monday�Saturday OR Sunday�Friday
Shifts: Must be open to working day or night shifts
Travel: 80%+ travel required
Overtime: Must be open to hourly work plus OT

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced electricians with 5+ years of hands-on industrial and/or hyperscale electrical construction experience.

This is a hands-on electrical construction and commissioning position, not a facilities maintenance, service, or plant operations role.

Candidates may have experience with either low-voltage or medium-voltage electrical systems; however, medium-voltage construction experience is the highest priority.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on electrical construction, installation, and commissioning work.
Read and interpret electrical prints, one-line diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
Install, connect, land, and torque electrical equipment and conductors.
Install and work with electrical switchgear, busway, PDU/UPS systems, MSBs, grounding systems, and power distribution equipment.
Perform 15kV and 35kV medium-voltage cable terminations using heat-shrink, cold-shrink, and molded termination kits.
Prepare, strip, install, and terminate MV cables according to manufacturer specifications.
Work with medium-voltage switchgear, e-houses, GSUs, 15kV/35kV cable systems, and duct banks.
Perform or support MV switching and clearance procedures.
Work adjacent to energized electrical equipment and live buses in accordance with established safety procedures and authorization.
Assist with or perform hipot and VLF testing, as qualified.
Follow LOTO, grounding, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety procedures.
Inspect completed installations and terminations and maintain accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on industrial and/or hyperscale electrical construction experience required.
Strong hands-on electrical construction background; experience must include physical installation work, not primarily facilities, service, or plant operations.
Ability to read electrical prints, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
Hands-on experience with electrical installation, terminations, landing, torqueing, and equipment connections.
For medium-voltage work: 5+ years of experience at 5kV or above.
415/480V experience does not count toward the 5+ years of medium-voltage experience requirement.
Documented experience performing 15kV and/or 35kV cable terminations. Experience must be demonstrated on a resume and/or supported by manufacturer terminator cards or certifications.
�Familiar with MV� or exposure to MV is not sufficient.
Experience with MV switchgear, electrical switching, clearance procedures, and medium-voltage power distribution.
Experience with 15kV/35kV cable systems, e-houses, GSUs, duct banks, and/or MV commissioning activities preferred.
Experience supporting hipot/VLF testing preferred.
Experience working adjacent to energized equipment or live buses in accordance with established safety procedures.
Current OSHA 1910.269 training with documented refresher training is required for applicable MV work.
NFPA 70E and LOTO experience are required.
OSHA 10 alone is not sufficient.
Strong understanding of electrical hazards, PPE, grounding, and safe work practices.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week.
Must be open to working day or night shifts.
Willingness to travel 80%+, work project rotations, and work overtime.
Electrical License & Voltage Experience

A state journeyman electrical license is required for applicable low-voltage electrical construction work.
Candidates with 415/480V experience should have hands-on experience with switchgear, busway, PDU/UPS systems, MSBs, and grounding.
For medium-voltage positions, voltage class and documented termination experience are the primary qualifications; a state journeyman license is not the determining qualification for MV work.
Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturer termination certifications or terminator cards documenting manufacturer and kit type.
Certifications for heat-shrink, cold-shrink, or molded termination systems.
Authorized MV switching experience.
Experience with campus MV systems including 12.47kV, 13.8kV, and 34.5kV.
Experience with large-scale industrial or hyperscale electrical construction and commissioning.
