Candidates must hold an Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or be eligible to reciprocate their license in Iowa.

Candidates must have experience energizing medium- and low-voltage equipment and performing LDLs. Load banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include verifying:

Breaker amperage and interrupting ratings are correct.
Equipment is installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Lugs and terminations are torqued correctly using calibrated torque wrenches.
Wire sizes and color coding are correct.
Phases are identified and labeled.
Switchgear interiors are free of physical damage and contamination.
Additional testing is completed as required.
Candidates must hold an OSHA 10-hour certification.
