NOW HIRING: JOURNEYMAN & APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS

DATA CENTER PROJECT – YORK, SOUTH CAROLINA

KT Black Services is hiring electricians for a major data center project in York, SC! We are looking for skilled Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices ready to join a busy project with an immediate need for qualified workers. Travel opportunities may be available, and per diem is being considered for qualified travelers.

💰 PAY RATES

Journeyman Electricians: $35–$37 per hour

Apprentice Electricians: $25–$30 per hour

Per Diem: Available for qualified candidates; details provided during the hiring process.

🕒 WORK SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday: 10-hour shifts

Saturday: 8-hour shift

58 hours per week

Overtime opportunities available based on the scheduled hours and applicable overtime requirements.

⚡ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, bend, and run electrical conduit.

Pull, terminate, and connect electrical wiring.

Install electrical panels, equipment, and related components.

Read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction drawings.

Follow NEC requirements, project specifications, and safety procedures.

Maintain high-quality workmanship on a large-scale data center project.

✅ QUALIFICATIONS

Journeyman Electricians

Must have strong, hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience.

Must be able to perform journeyman-level work independently from day one.

Must be comfortable reading prints, installing electrical systems, and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Must successfully pass a written electrical knowledge test and a hands-on practical assessment before starting.

Apprentice Electricians

Must have previous electrical construction experience and a solid understanding of basic electrical installations.

Must be familiar with conduit installation, wire pulling, and general electrical jobsite procedures.

Must demonstrate safe work practices, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow direction.

Must successfully complete the required pre-employment assessments.

Preferred Qualification: Current lift certification. Candidates without lift certification may still be considered, as on-site certification may be available.
