RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervision of employees in accordance with the Company Policies and Procedures
Strong supervisor skills within an inventory department
Manage develop and promote team members in the Inventory Dept.
Complete management of inventory within the Building Maintenance department
Processing purchase orders
Determining what supplies and how many needed to be order
Forecasting inventory levels
Communicating with vendors to ensure Marvin is making cost efficient and timely inventory orders
Experienced using SAP to monitor and manage inventory levels
Communicating with internal managers to ensure they inventory needs were met in a timely manor
Develop and maintain store room inventory management processes Ensure cycle counts are performed on a timely basis to eliminate stock outs
Develop and maintain turn ratio report to identify and resolve slow moving inventory
Interface with VMI suppliers and conduct performance appraisals when necessary
Develop tracking sheets for consumables and report as directed
Enforce Safety requirements, regulations and company policies
Perform RCCAs, corrective and preventive actions and/or assist workers to solve problems
Make recommendations to improve inventory methods, performance and quality of service
Develop and maintain store room inventory management processes

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED - College course completion preferred
Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred
Proven experience as inventory supervisor or similar position
Experience in Inventory Control, with ability to show improvement in a continually developing environment
Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma tools is a plus
Strong analytical, mathematical or data analysis bias including problem solving
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (Minimum Intermediate Level) &, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
