PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Structures Engineer position in Mobile, AL.Position Summary:Provide engineering for in-service customer support and new aircraft modifications; acting as a Liaison between our Client company in Spain and in the US.Primary Responsibilities:

1. Engineering duties: 70%

• Provide engineering services for the support ofaircrafts operating in the U.S.
• Provide in-service structural repair design and substantiation support forcustomers.
• Generate and review engineering drawings, structural design and substantiations, technical reports, and other technical publications for new aircraft modifications.
• Review structural analysis documents within the team to verify compliance with airworthiness standards and report any potential non-compliance.
• Provide training on RTAS (Repair Technical Approval Sheet) Signature and related procedures.
• Act as a liaison betweenSpain and USA.

1. Knowledge and Ability: 30%

• Ability to perform static strength analysis.
• Ability to perform fatigue and damage tolerance studies preferred.
• Knowledge of EASA Certification Specifications (CS) is preferred.
• Previous signatory experience (DER, DOA, etc.) is beneficial

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautical) or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

• 4-6 years' experience in an aerospace engineering environment required.
• Previous experience/knowledge in the CASA C212 and CN235 aircraft is required.
• Experience inRTAS program templates and processes.

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

• Must understand, read and write proficiently in the English language to read and understand appropriate manuals, schematics, and technical information necessary to adequately perform duties.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required but considered a plus for communications with ADS Spain.

Technical Systems Proficiency:

• Proficient in MS Project, MS Office Suite, SolidWorks, and various CAD suites.

Travel Required:

• 10% Domestic and International

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. export control regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

Physical Requirements:Sitting, Standing, Squatting/Kneeling, Walking, Speaking, Hearing, Vision, Manual Dexterity, ability to work in somewhat confined spaces.
