ORC Utility and Infrastructure Land Services is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Right of Way Document Specialist for projects in Columbus, OH.

Utility & Infrastructure Land Services provides services related to program management for the land acquisition phase of pipeline, transmission lines, utility and other infrastructure projects as well as real estate services including, but not limited to, right of way acquisition services.

The Document/Records Specialist for Utilities will partner with the Utilities Director and ROW agents in day to day document creation, data entry and filing activities. They review and check documentation for accuracy and are responsible for final internal quality control of documents and the filing of original documents in right of way records system.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of one (1) year in Real Estate industry
Minimum of one (1) year of technical documentation experience (may include experience in any of the following):
Land and right of way acquisition processes and documentation
Public records research, land title ownerships and encumbrances and interests
Due diligence review of right of way files and understanding of assignability and reversionary clauses, restrictions, fractional ownership, lease payments and terms, abandonment clauses
Read and review a variety of maps, electronic and paper
Knowledge of proper state legal document execution practices, such as what signatures are required for trusts, conservatorship, guardianship, estates, etc.
Must be technologically proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, along with other electronic databases (comfortable operating in a digital document environment)
Ability to determine real property vs. personal property
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to compose routine business correspondence
Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced administrative office setting
Demonstrated organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
Model strong customer service orientation
Must have a valid Driverís License

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelorís Degree
Prior electric transmission and/or distribution experience

Relocation and/or per diem is not provided. If selected and not local, would need to be able to relocate to the Columbus area at own expense.
