This position is remote until further notice, location is Rosemead, CA upon return to work.
Defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables during the phase of all project management, makes improvements and takes action to mitigate the problems. Assesses and mitigates risks throughout the project; develops the product release plan coordinates implementation of the final product; coordinates the quality assurance processes; develops and manages project documentation requirements or procedures; directs project status meetings, phases, milestones, and final project review.
Areas of Responsibilities
Directs, leads, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure established milestones are accomplished in accordance with client business objectives.
Develops project budgets and uses the business case to justify/request project budget and provides input to planning budget, security, configuration management, and problem management processes.
Monitors staff and contractor efforts and use of resources to ensure effective and efficient expenditures and attainment of project goals and designs or conducts analytical studies, cost benefit analysis, and other research, and reports on milestones and budget.
Determines and secures all resources required to plan, analyze, develop, and implement the assigned project.
Assembles a team of technical experts and acquires resources including corporate and vendor IT services, equipment, and other necessary items and coordinates resources across organizational elements if necessary.
Ability to perform in-depth analysis of the highest-level technical issues. In-depth experience designing and implementing information solutions. Ability to ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented.
Ability to provide technical engineering and/or architectural guidance on an as-needed basis.
Acting as the UX subject matter expert on the project team and the voice of the users.
Communicating conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of the user-centered design process to project teams, clients and senior decision makers through occasional wireframes or mockups
Participating in agile product development as integrated part of scrum team.
Designing and conducting both informal and formal user testing
Conceptualizing and designing user journeys and end-to-end experiences
Facilitating workshops to gather requirements and evolve designs.
Working with a large team that is adapting and configuring our Salesforce platform for use in our Vegetation Management programs.
Conduct effective meetings and workshops in a virtual environment with demonstrated mastery of the appropriate collaboration and design tools.
Able to work flexible hours with offshore and onshore teams as well as with field users.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related specialized field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Specialized certification may be required.
Typically possesses nine or more years of experience in the field performing complex analysis, consulting and providing recommendations.

You’re familiar with writing user stories within the Agile process.
You’ve designed and performed usability testing.
You’re comfortable leading the discussion within a group.
You love creating intuitive user experiences that meet or exceed the needs of your users.
You have at least 7 years’ experience solving UX problems and designing web and mobile app experiences.
You’re skilled in standard design & wireframing tools (e.g., Sketch) and simple prototyping tools (e.g. InVision)
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or the equivalent experience.
Real-world experience in using Agile, as well as User-Centered Design principles and methodologies.
Salesforce design experience and advanced certifications are a plus.
Exceptional conceptual design skills and familiarity with high-level artifacts (scenarios, personas, flow diagrams, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills and can work easily within larger teams
Collaborative teammate that is happy to share ideas, give and solicit feedback from other designers, support with additional work when required
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work under tight timelines
