Position Overview

The purpose of the Network Integration Engineer is to be a senior level subject matter expert engineer who is focused on integration, upgrades, and network design.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Highly technical lead in ION 7X50, 77XX/7210 routers
Responsible for creating Method of Procedure (MOP) and Acceptance Test Plans (ATP) built from the design
Will lead customer and other team members on the best technical path while balancing work across multiple projects concurrently.
Will attend project meetings as needed to address technical questions and provide project updates.

Education and Experience


Masters in Engineering or 8-10 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP technologies.
Proficient in Standard Routing Protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Route Policy, QoS, VRRP, Multicast, LDP and MPLS
Must be very sound in IP-Routing - OSPF/BGP/VPLS/VPRI/QoS
Needs to be very familiar with Nokia 7X50/77XX/7210 hardware/software and CLI
Ability to comfortably configure, test and troubleshoot Nokia services as well as SDPs, VPLS, VLL, IES and most importantly VPRN.
Must be an SRA or should be on track to get an SRA within 6 months
Experience in selling and delivering Datacenter/Carrier Network and Solutions.
Excellent in designing networking equipment for Carrier, SDN and NFV Solutions and Concepts.
Excellent in designing E2E Mobile Networks, Backhaul and Core Solutions and Concepts.
Detailed understanding of 3GPP interfaces, IP/MPLS concepts and related technologies
Detailed understanding of VZW Call Flows
Detailed understanding of VZW Network Features
Strong Linux/Unix shell and datacenter networking knowledge
Hands-on experience including design, build, deploy, troubleshooting & fault-finding, etc
Strong communication skills

Knowledge in the areas of Virtualized Service Routers (VSR), operating systems such as Red Hat, CentOS and Ubuntu and OpenStack, LTE, BNG, IPTV, Nuage or WLAN GW would be a plus
Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel
This position can operate anywhere in the US and may be remote.
