[Human Resources Manager] Onboarding Specialist

Administer the Designer Qualification Program (DQP) across various client design department and groups. Supervise, guide, mentor, and contribute to all Onboarding and DQP processes

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform contractor onboarding, offboarding and access maintenance
Assist with on boarding new contractors, including off boarding and maintaining access and extending existing contractor access, provide access within client employees including, System Access setup
Ensure badge admission and valid security clearance to accommodate contractors’ day to day assignments.
Validate correct access is being granted to contractors when practical while ensuring improper access is not granted
Engage and troubleshoot all issues associated with access issues.
Support laptop bundle requests for new contractors
Accountable for the new Vendor Portal NET for Non-Employee Tracking system and list of all active contractors in our system transition from Access Manager
Act as a partner to internal client contractor requirements, taking full ownership and responsibility for the follow through and success of these requirement
Control, document and publish procedures and update manuals for the on boarding and off boarding of contractors.
Maintain logs outlining reoccurring issues and challenges while serving as a conduit for continuous improvement with all organizations supporting access and basic hardware requisitions.
Support user training when necessary

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

Administer the Designer Qualification Program (DQP) across various client design department and groups. Maintain custom database within SharePoint containing applicant reports, statuses, and performance data.
Administer applicant design testing of Overhead Electric, Underground Electric, Gas, and Transformer Vault disciplines. This requires complex configuration of online testing applications (ClassMarker) and remote proctoring tools such as ProctorFree.
Administer ICUE design access for contractors based on DQP protocols.
Coordinate with client stakeholders to consistently improve exam content and user experience.
Meet regularly with team members, contractors, and all stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
Focus on continuous improvement of processes and tools.
Manage team inbox for miscellaneous requests and questions.
Build alliances with additional client departments to expand the program to all distribution design teams and promote adoption of RUBRIC procedures to ensure applicants receive credit for design hours towards earning Qualified status within disciplines.
Maintain Guest and Internal Contractor SharePoint sites, and all associated user data related to testing, results, and RUBRIC information.
Perform comprehensive data maintenance and clean-up as required.
Work with key SDG&E stakeholders to rewrite the Designer Qualification Program Fact Sheet.
Control, document and publish procedures and update manuals for the program.

Travel

The incumbent would be undertaking peripatetic employment in that the nature of the job may require travel to client sites not to exceed five (5) days at a time.
