Located in Hazelwood, MO, the Maintenance Lead Technician will work with a team to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical equipment including but not limited to; conveying systems, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, compressors, chillers, dryers, cooling towers and injection molding machines. Develop and drive the maintenance department to higher technical levels while delivering and sustaining profitable growth. Institute a consolidated process improvement program designed to integrate a continuous improvement platform through lean initiative as the change method resulting in improved quality, efficiency, and profitability within the corporation. Process improvement disciplines will include adhering to and developing strong safety and environmental performance, reduce energy costs, improve production through quantifiable data, while improving the overall equipment effectiveness throughout the plant. The objective for the incumbent will be to support and influence change, and provide the guidance, direction while supporting the team to ensure that the technical goals are met and exceeded for the critical manufacturing assets. Competencies: 5-10 years with Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, HVAC, building maintenance knowledge required Electrical experience at a minimum should include 480 volts to low voltage circuits troubleshooting manufacturing equipment PLC programming and ladder logic experience a plus Machine installation and commissioning preparation experience Robust troubleshooting experience with larger tonnage machines in the 2000 tons and higher range. Fanuc, and other 5-axis robotics experience. Able to work both independently and within a team environment Must be comfortable, flexible, and innovative setting own priorities Participate with planning with projects throughout all areas of manufacturing plant wide. Predictive/preventative maintenance experience is a requirement Injection molding experience preferred and will consider skilled applicants from other manufacturing environments Hands-on experience preferred with a strong technical aptitude. Flexibility with on-call to support manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma required Technical Certification highly preferred Bachelors or Associates degree a plus Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience Proven stable work history Professional experience in plastic industries would be advantageous Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
