Junior Project Manager/ Project Support Analyst will assist in the management of multiple projects while providing project management support and advice to cross functional teams. Core responsibilities will include coordinating projects, schedules, track the progress of projects and report their results.
A Junior Project Manager typically works under the direct supervision of a Senior Project Manager in an assistant capacity. They work often within the industry of engineering and software development, but a number of other industries hire project managers as well.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Setting up meetings, coordinate with the team and prepare Status Report
Document Meeting Notes, Action Items and Follow ups
Preparation of project deck
Follow up with the Delivery Managers (DMs)/Project Managers (PMs) for the updates
Working closely with the PMs and Keeping SharePoint up-to-date with documentation and version controls
Help with Access management, Access Requests, Workspace Creation
Audit the UMT360/Power BI Reports Work with DMs on variances
Facilitating Agile Ceremonies - Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Retrospective, etc
Help projects with Setting up Octane and keeping it up-to-date, User Stories, Epics, Features creation
Help DMs and PMs with GATE 1-4 at each stage of the project - Preparation of Deck, Checklist adherence, Setting up meetings, Notes, Action Items and follow ups
Take up project activities as per PMO checklist for the Closeout of the project
Updating the projects to next stages in UMT360
Manage and help with Onboarding request for the consultants/vendor resources and follow up on the progress with RSS until done - Badge/Laptop shipment etc
Train new resources as per PS Onboarding checklist
Help with Collection of Laptops and other SCE resources from the offboarded folks
Work on Source Package documentation with the DMs and Supply Chain - SOW, CRs, Cyber checklist
Manage end to end QA activities including Test Strategy, Planning, Defect management, Root Cause Analysis, Maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrix, UAT Support, Test Completion reports, etc
Qualifications and Experience
2-3 years of experience managing cross functional projects as Junior PM (both Agile and Waterfall projects)
Experience with Project Management tools
Strong understanding of core Project Management concepts
Experience with QA, Root Cause Analysis, Testing/ UAT, Traceability Matrix, Requirements documentation etc.
PMP and Agile certification preferred
