Summary:

The Software and Applications Engineering (SAE) Division supports Los Alamos National Laboratory’s (LANL) enterprise applications and performs software application development support, database development and administration, software quality management, and enterprise application consulting. The Enterprise Business Software Group (SAE-2) provides custom application development, commercial off-the-shelf application implementation, database administration, and adoption/integration with Software as a Service solution. SAE-2 supports business processes for financial, personnel, procurement, and human resources IT systems.
Software Developer 4
Working alongside some of the brightest minds, you will work with a team using agile development methodologies that support existing custom and COST applications. The selected candidates will work as a Senior Boomi Platform Developer on IDS(Institutional Data Service) team in the Enterprise Business Software group (SAE-2) supporting the development and maintenance of the Denodo Platform.
A selected candidate will be responsible to:
Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and various on-premises COTS, custom, and SaaS solutions in a secure and repeatable method utilizing Boomi and Denodo Platforms.
Improve efficiency and performance tuning of existing and new integration solutions within Denodo and Boomi Platforms.
Analyze and determine for all integration needs if Boomi or Denodo would be the proper and best implementation solution.
Develop and enforce industry’s integrations standards and best practices.
Deliver progress reports to project leaders, sponsors, and help define project plans and milestones.
Collaborate with customers and colleagues.
Provide knowledge transfer to technical staff.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Demonstrated expert level experience with implementing integration strategies between on premise COTS solutions and various Software as a Service (SAAS) solutions utilizing Denodo 8.x and Boomi.
Experience implementing integrations with SaaS solutions such as Ariba, Fieldglass, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, DevonWay, Oracle HCM Cloud, etc.
Expertise in Oracle EBS 12.2.x APIs and integration strategies.
Experience utilizing an ODS (Operational Data Store) as both a consumer and a provider.
Experience consuming and authoring RESTful and/or SOAP web services.
Experience with working and utilizing relational databases.
Knowledge of the DevSecOps culture and principles and experience with CI/CD development, and deployment of software in diverse application environments.
Experience and demonstrated skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions to problems.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical peers, customers, and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Kanban, and Scrum.
Experience using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
