Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an IT Project Manager 4 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

Work Location: 100% remote.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (5-8s) or 9/80s
Organization/Group: SAE-2 (9V020A)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain “Q.”
Positions Available: 1

Education:
Position requires a post-graduate degree and/or expert level professional certification(s) and a minimum of twelve years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary:
Manages and ensures the timely completion of multi-discipline information technology (IT) projects of various levels of complexity and scope. Uses specific knowledge about one or more areas of Project Management to research, plan, communicate and achieve IT objectives through a project team. Oversees and directs the project aspects of the team while the software developers plan, track and execute the technical side of project plans from start to completion. Recommends changes to improve project management process and to produce cost and time effective delivery of projects.

Has broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of technical objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Develops and/or implements advanced concepts, techniques, and standards based on professional principles and theories. Considered an expert in the field. Works on unusually significant, unique or complex issues, provides solutions that are highly creative and where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Has impact on success of future concepts, products or technologies. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets. Assignments are often self-initiated and virtually self-supervisory. Provides technical direction and/or coordinates activities of other personnel. Uses independent judgment for determining course of action to accomplish objectives. Uses wide latitude in the methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Senior Project Manager
Working alongside some of the brightest minds, you will work with a team using agile development methodologies that support existing custom and COST applications. The selected candidates will work as a Senior Project Manager on EDS(Enterprise Data Service) team in the Enterprise Business Software group (SAE-2) supporting the development and maintenances.

A selected candidate will be responsible to:
Collaborate/communicate with customers and colleagues.
Project management on Data Architecture implementations
System Integrations using Boomi
Provide knowledge transfer to technical staff.
Work with high-level external or internal organizations to evaluate, develop, negotiate, and maintain partnerships and strategic relationships with Department of Energy / National Nuclear Security Administration customers, other government agencies, academic institutions, and/or private industries.
Integrate complex Information Technology or Information Security program work with other priorities and commitments, including safety, security, environmental compliance, quality, contractor assurance, and business imperatives.
Apply advanced knowledge and expertise to develop an execution/implementation plan that covers the Information Technology or Information Security programmatic work from conception to completion.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Extensive experience managing projects that focus on Data Architecture implementations
Extensive experience managing projects focused on enterprise data modeling, mapping, and system integration utilizing Boomi.
Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles
Experience utilizing tools such as Jira and/or Confluence.
Project management experience demonstrated through the direction and responsibility for numerous complex projects involving several components such as resources, budget, and schedule.
Ability to coordinate programmatic deliverables and program/project work with scrum teams, scrum masters, and product/service owners.
Experience managing medium to large programs, including defining program work scope, schedules, budgets, priorities, and performance milestones
Ability to manage projects with the aim of completing projects on time, within budget, and delivering a quality product to stakeholders and customers.
Should have excellent communication skills to interact with business users and work on enhancement requests

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle databases (version 12c or higher).
