Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Computing Systems Tec 2 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Location: REMOTE - 100% telework. Will have 1 required meeting every month in Santa Fe. Will be required to come on site as asked for equipment/meetings.

Summary:
Provides day-to-day technical support services, locally or remotely, to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop, or mobile systems, workstations, and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Other duties include:
Providing customers with timely resolutions to system vulnerabilities
Resolving vulnerabilities for Windows and Mac operating systems using remote tools
Developing and maintaining vulnerability documentation
Communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

Education:
Position typically requires a high school diploma and one-to-two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Software Experience:
Tech Savvy, Windows/Mac Operating system knowledge. Scanning equipment, vulnerability protection software, ticketing system experience knowledge preferred but not required
