We have an opening in Dallas, TX. requiring a Construction Code inspector.

Direct hire with client.

$100-$110k per year plus expenses.


General Description:

What we seek for all of these positions is a combination of on-site observation and owner coordination with the general contractor.

Each project already has an in-house construction manager, but they will split their time between 3-4 projects.

We need individuals familiar with construction site techniques, scheduling, methods and safety procedures.

We also want experience with modern building systems including HVAC, MEP, BAC and laboratory certification preparation.

Background in higher education, healthcare, and/or life science clean room environment is highly desirable.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Knowledge of construction principles and practices.

Ability to read and Interpret contract documents.

Must be onsite at project location full time

Manages the process from Substantial Completion through training, famishing, certification of systems, and financial closeout of contracts.


Education/Training/Certifications:

ICC certification desirable

Licensed electrician, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry background is desirable

Experience in the design or construction of building types associated with educational campus

Five years in design or construction related experience with degree or nine years design or construction related experience without degree.

College degree plus 15+ years’ experience desirable
