Under supervision, the millwright performs related tasks on Industrial projects. May operate hand/power tools on a daily basis. Will set skids and equipment and align pumps/motors to designated specifications. Operate hoist and overhead cranes for equipment setting, set bracing, and duties as assigned. Duties may include but are not limited to: performing skilled pump, turbine and compressor and rotating equipment work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Clean and prepare task site to eliminate possible work hazards.
• Read written instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustments of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Measure, mark, and record openings and distances for layout areas where construction work is to be performed.
• Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to appropriate locations, according to project plans, and specs.
• Pick up dropped temp safety, organize and store for future use.
• Lubricate, maintain, and clean machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Fire watch when needed.
• Provide assistance to other trades or crews when business need arises.
• Layout for motors, pumps, skids, conveyors, bucket elevators, Etc.
• Motor and Pump Alignment, and general maintenance work.
• Tend pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain job site danger tape.
• Properly use all required tools to preform required functions of job description, i.e. cutting torches, power tools, Calipers, Micrometers, arc gauge, mig/stick welding equipment, laser alignment tools.

TOOL REQUIREMENTS
• Precision tools, dial indicators, micrometers, inside and outside.
• Combo wrenches 1/4 to 1 1/4
• Socket set-1/4-3/8-1/2
• Punch set, and hammers-ball pins, copper, brass, and screw driver sets.
• Allen wrenches, pliers sets, channel locks, needle noses, snap rings, diagonals, tape measure,
• Vernier calipers, 2-4 dial indicators W/mag base.
• Depth Mics-inside-1 1/2 - 12 1/2, outside-0-6", squares.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
• 1-2 years millwright experience with the ability to exhibit journeyman skills.
• NCCER certification preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal construction job site conditions to include loud noises, dust, potential unseen hazards, heavy equipment operating within close range. May include exposure to heights at times in excess of 40 feet. May include confined spaces, being exposed to outdoor elements for long periods of time, and may work long hours.
