Construction Management Support

Job will start in Oct, 2018 and run in 2 - 12 month increments.
Contract- Location- Lakewood, CO near Denver.

Education: Completion of an accredited 4-year degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum Experience: 10 years with a degree or 15 years without a degree of direct construction management experience in the commercial or government construction industry as follows:
Inspecting and documenting construction to include inspecting building materials, workmanship, utilities and installation of systems.
Verifying contract compliance by reviewing specifications and drawings, construction schedules and contract documents. Preparing estimates and assisting with change order negotiation and general problem solving.
Preparing estimates and assisting with change order negotiation and general problem solving.
Understanding and interpreting the methods and techniques of engineering principles relating to construction practices and techniques.
Understanding and interpreting electrical, mechanical and structural aspects of construction projects.
Proficient Primavera scheduling software, Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.
Provides technical support to the construction management, construction safety.
Serves as a construction Subject matter expert, provides recommendations to project teams during construction on the following targeted construction aspects.
Provides cost estimating and budgeting input.
Completes time impact analyses.
Reviews and analyzes baseline schedules and schedule revision for logic, feasibility, and realism.
Analyzes request for equitable adjustment (REA) and claims. Provides recommendations on Government positions and assesses risk.
Assists with the Construction Safety Program.
Completes all work within required deadlines.
