Perform various maintenance tasks of facility, equipment, and office occupied spaces, mechanical equipment rooms, interior and exterior spaces on government installation. Work space encompasses multiple buildings and warehouses. Work well in a professional team environment. Read and interpret written work order descriptions, prioritize and complete work by scheduled dates, and fill out appropriate work order tickets for proper tracking of asset maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to gain access on Federal post
Excellent organizational skills and experience managing maintenance documentation.
Basic computer skills - Outlook, email, internet use for obtaining part diagrams and LKQ replacements
Experience in commercial building maintenance - interior/exterior construction repairs, compressed air and domestic water system maintenance, HVAC system maintenance, general lighting repairs, window and door component adjustments, plumbing fixture repairs, drop ceiling repairs, various life safety system device inspections

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical - pumps, seals, bearings, pulleys, shafts
Plumbing - filters, fittings, pressure, flow devices
HVAC - refrigeration cycle, fans, filters, compressors, chillers, boilers, fuel systems
Electrical - lighting, switches, motors, circuits, voltage, conduits
Trade school or Vocational training
Certifications: Aerial Lift, Fork Lift, CFC refrigeration
OSHA fall protection trained

Physical Requirements:
OSHA audiometric test for hearing conservation program
OSHA physical for lift truck operation
Work at heights up to 60' in aerial lift platform
Able to climb ladders up to 24' high
Able to lift 50lbs.
Able to work on feet 75% of the day
Able to work in high noise environments >85dB w/ hearing PPE
Able to work and shovel snow in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)
Able to work and maneuver in tight physical spaces, crawl, confined space

Required Travel: Local travel
