System One has a 6 month opportunity (to start) for a Storage Tank Engineer / Construction Manager to be responsible for visiting our client's work sites and work with the end user to develop a scope of work for the individual site. In most cases that will be the removal and replacement of the existing fuel system which will be either AST or UST. Experience with storage tanks at or under 10,000 gallons acceptable. The Storage Tank Engineer/CM will be required to make routine visits to NYC for the ongoing contract work and likely manage subcontracted consulting construction managers.

--Per diem is paid for travel expenses incurred to the field sites in the Syracuse and New York City areas

--Work hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm – Monday thru Friday
The Storage Tank Engineer / Construction Manager will be responsible for:
--Fuel System Design and Construction.
--The development of design and permitting packages for small-scale fueling system for fleet vehicles w/in NYC Agencies (police, fire dept., sanitation, etc.).
--Will assist with bid package development and subcontracting.
--Responsible for field construction activities of projects for which they designed and bid the work.
--Client management team is experienced w/fuel systems and can provide guidance for execution of the work but the expectation is that the Storage Tank Engineer/ CM will be a self-motivated individual.
The Client expects the candidate will meet the following education and experience profile:
-- 8-10 Years relevant experience in fuel systems (gasoline and diesel) and associated equipment
-- Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree required.
-- New York P.E. preferred.
-- Experience in above ground Storage Tank (AST) systems is REQUIRED.
-- Experience in underground Storage Tanks (UST) systems is REQUIRED.
-- Must have a working knowledge of fuel systems (gasoline and diesel), and associated equipment for a working delivery system.
