Millwrights will have experience working in power plants, pulp and paper mills, and refineries. Candidates need to have experience with the following: Performing inspections on couplings, making any necessary recommendation on coupling repairs, working with Microsoft excel to create repair reports for couplings and line shafts or jack shafts and adding any additional information on repairs needed in the equipment, millwright must be able to use Microsoft excel to add comments or photos to reports and generate repair reports for the customer, millwright will take photos of each phase of repair from as found to disassemble to re-assembly, Millwright needs to have experience interpreting coupling components and repair issues, experience working with lubricants, interpreting line shaft or jack shaft issues, repairing and installing gear boxes (check backlash, float, seal failures, etc.) and pumps, refiners, head box work, bearings, conveyors for bucket elevators, welding (Stick/Mig is a Plus), and rigging (come-a-longs, chain falls, tuggers, etc.). Candidates must be able to measure inside and outside diameters use micrometers and dial calipers. Also must be able to demonstrate knowledge of bench clearance bearings. TWIC card is a huge plus. Candidates who hold a journeyman level millwright certs are perfect for this role. Candidates will need to be able to assemble and disassemble pumps, blowers, and gear boxes. Previous millwright experience and good work history working in power plants and industrial facilities are going to be mandatory. Laser Alignment is experience is also needed for these roles. Candidates will be working with tight tolerance (half thousands). Blowers/Fans (ID/FD, over fire fans, rebabit fans, and installing new bearings)
