[Superintendent] Electrical Superintendent needed

We are looking for an experienced and schedule driven Superintendent to become a team member for a progressive business. Our business prides itself on being an exceptional workplace producing exceptional results.

Must have strong Industrial Electrical Background

Jobs will be in multiple locations. Must be willing to travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields

• Familiarity with construction management software preferred

• Strong leadership qualities

• Strong negotiation skill

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and willing to travel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 10+ years construction related experience • Strong analytical skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preconstruction preparation of the jobsite (office/ office trailer, poster, first aid kit, fire extinguishers… etc.)

• Can effectively run and manage meetings

• Enforce and maintain Project Specific Safety Plans

• Conduct required site safety meetings

• Maintain currency in First Aid and CPR certification

• Maintain company tools and equipment as well as rented equipment in a secure manner

• Counsel all field tradesmen in Quality awareness

• Oversee, monitor and orchestrate all day-to-day field activities

• Act as a day-to-day liaison between the Company and the owner’s representative

• Keep project on schedule by comparing project progress to project schedule daily. Alert PM of any deviation from schedule

• Schedule all material deliveries, labor activities and subcontractors in advance by utilizing the project schedule

• Accurately cost code time sheets, receipts, delivery tickets, expense reports, etc.

• Prepare, file, and/or forward all required daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork (i.e. daily field reports, timesheets, progress photos, safety meeting reports, expense reports, delivery tickets, rental equipment logs, etc.)

• Prepare owner required advance notifications (i.e. penetration permits, utility outages, hot work, etc.)

• Assist PM in preparing Change Proposals

• Review monthly projected cost reports with PM

• Maintain an accurate set of red-lined, as-built plans and specs

• Prepare distribute and track the completion of pre-substantial completion Punch Lists

• Complete accurate, timely daily reports of each day of the project and distribute to owner and company server

• If needed, work with PM to ensure accurate certified payrolls, daily field reports and employee timesheets
