PIC Group's client is seeking a Project Manager to work in Michigan for 1 year at a facility.
Starts Jan 6th!
Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of project goals, which include cost, schedule and quality. Working for the Project Director with a dotted line to the PMO lead. The project manager will be working between offices and the county jail in Michigan.
Per Diem for non local candidates plus Mobilization and Demob.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
Boiler and steam turbine experience required.
Electrical installation/construction project management experience of 3 years, or more, for projects with operating budgets >$10,000,000 preferred.
Manage all phases of projects from inception through completion and be financially responsible to overall project performance
Utilize existing project plan templates to be revised for project specific for review by Key Stakeholders
Monitor EPC Contractor adherence to master plans and schedules.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Lead service and hardware procurement efforts, to support project scope of work
Utilize project management software tools to generate weekly reports, risk registers and forecasts throughout project performance period
Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status
Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
Perform lessons learned activities, upon project closure
Managing on site Owners Rep (1) overseeing construction contractor.
