Immediate need of CDL Drivers
Job Location: Port Arthur, TX
Would need someone who lives within about a 45-50 mile range from the area﻿
This position is responsible for delivering and starting up pure water equipment
Drive truck and trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and has skill in maneuvering truck safely in all situations.
1.Assembles and connects hosing to customerís system.
2.Uses monitoring equipment to test that proper water quality is being met and logs results
3.Ensures proper valving of the deminerlizer trailer.
4.Trouble shoots system operational problems.
5.Runs ongoing interface with customers to assure quality service.
6.Adheres to all laws on commercial vehicle operation as required by federal, state and local authorities and per MPW policies.
7.Maintain close and daily contact with dispatch
Perform pre and post trip inspections for the truck and trailer
Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the trailer to prevent damage
Stay on predetermined routes and ensure a timely delivery
Unload and install tanks as needed using a walk behind forklift
Manage logs per DOT regulations
Make safety a priority at all times
Perform other duties as directed
1.Ability to carry/lift up to 75 lbs.
2.Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves heavy manual labor.
3.Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
4.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces.
5.Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
6.Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Class A license with tanker endorsement
Ability to operate a forklift.
1 year of Class A driving experience preferred
Must pass a DOT drug test and maintain a current DOT physical
Ability to obtain a TWIC card
