Open Position for Construction Laborers!
Client is the #1 Property Restoration company in the Country. They are looking to expand their company within the Lehigh Valley.
Summary: Working in Allentown/Bethlehem branch performing property restoration services with a focus on water damage. MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE. This is a general construction laborer. They will be doing demolition, clean up -- basically anything associated with construction labor.
They will be working with a team of carpenter and painters on-site. Some responsibilities are:
- Setting up job site with equipment
- Ripping up wet carpet
- Removing damaged furniture
- Sucking up water that is on the floor.
Will use water moisture meter- be taught how to do this. If someone knows how to really utilize a smart phone, they can pick up on this. Will use computers to enter basic job/project information. Opportunity into more technical roles including carpenters, painters, and construction management.
Preemployment screenings: Drug test. Background check. EMPLOYEES MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.
Shift: Mon - Fri 7am- 4/4:30pm. Employees will work roughly 50+ hours every week. Being on-call is required. It is a 5-week cycle of 2 weeks on and 3 weeks off of on-call except for major disasters such as Hurricanes. If this happens everyone is on call. Will be compensated an extra $75 a week during on-call schedule ($150 every 2 weeks)
Pay is $14-$16 based on experience.
When hired on Water Technicians are paid anywhere from $45,000 to $60,000 per year
