Qualifications needed: BS in Engineering
A minimum 5 years’ construction management experience.
Proven project management skills with the analytical and critical thinking required to coordinate scheduling, and to develop corrective actions to address schedule issues and control costs for multiple capital projects.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and resolve questions with contractors, equipment suppliers and stakeholders in multiple areas and levels to maintain project schedules and Owner standards
Experience and ability to coordinate and manage multi-discipline construction projects.
Ability to monitor and direct engineering supplier efforts during the generation of construction bid packages, and to provide constructability input.
Demonstrated capital project scheduling experience.
Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project
Responsibilities: • Act as Owner’s representative to ensure jobsite safety, quality of work, schedule, change management and cost control for capital projects.
• Management of contractor EHS and permitting requirements (LOTO, working at heights, rigging, hot work, electrical work, etc)
• Report on project progress and communicate with company management, contractors and vendors to establish effective working relationships.
