Solar Panel Installers, assemble, install, or maintain solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. They are the key to the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.
This job will require you to work outdoors in cold weather, applicants should be prepared for that kind of work.
Measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.
Connecting installed solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations.
Organizing and maintaining system components.
Maintaining documentation of completed installations.
Applying weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms.
Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions.
General job site clean up and organization
Must have verifiable experience working outdoors in cold weather.
Tools are provided, but steel toe boots and cold weather gear are your responsibility.
Must be 18 years of age with valid ID.
Minimum of 6 months of experience on a Construction site.
In order to qualify for the Installer position, you must have at least 6 months of experience on a Solar site.
Verifiable references of your professional skills and experience.
This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well.
Hard working and reliable.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
Able to meet additional screening requirements when applicable.
Solar Operators operate heavy equipment such as All-Terrain/Telehandler Forklifts and Skid Steers used in the construction and maintenance of solar fields.

Operate/maneuver forklift (lull/telehandler) and skid steer for unloading trucks and moving material to the field in a safe manner.
Check daily to ensure equipment functions properly and in a safe manner
Clean, maintain and make basic repairs to equipment
Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored when not in use
Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals
PPE & Tools Provided Onsite!
$16 - $20hr
$65 per work day in Per Diem if Traveling over 60+ miles!
