Our client is currently looking for a Site Attendant to join them on a Contract basis for 3-6 months (pending restrictions).

On a day to day this person will be required to ensure all personnel complete an online health screen prior to entering the workplace.

Site Attendant job duties:

Attend site entry gate for 8 hour workday.

Ensure anyone who enters job site including tradesmen, sub trades, clients, delivery personal, etc. have completed the Health Screen Questionnaire*

Escalate any issues to the site CSO or Superintendent via Radio.

Qualifications:

1. Comfortable on an industrial construction site with 50-100 people.

2. Ability to read and write in English

3. Basic knowledge in hygiene promotion

4. Presentable for client facing.

5. Able to get to site everyday - Vehicle necessary due to shift time

6. Able to outside in ALL conditions

NICE TO HAVE

Someone who wants to get into safety

Labour who wants to get into construction

First aid tickets

Security Experience

SOFT SKILLS

Must be able to show up to work on time

Must have good communication skills, and Must be comfortable with addressing issues with workers.

Work under minimal supervision

Self-directed

Comfortable with dealing with uncertainty

Strong attention to detail

Being able to work efficiently, under pressure and adapt to changing conditions

Rain or Shine outdoor conditions

SHIFT:

Hours - start 6 AM- 3:30 PM, where they will be paid for 9 hours (1 hour of paid overtime).

There will be one 15-minute coffee in the AM, and a 1/2 hour meal break (which would be unpaid).

SITE INFORMATION:

They will work at a site in Richmond, BC.
