Maintenance Technician (JP-002219835)

Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and negotiate stairs and ladders easily.

Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team.

Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.

Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Two (2) years experience in previous relevant field.

Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.

Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook.

Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.

Pay: $18-23/hr

Shift: 8-4:30PM

- 40 hours weeks and overtime

- No on call schedule

- Work independently

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Responsible to perform necessary maintenance in turnover apartments per the attached turnover mechanical punch list including but not limited to:

Sheetrock repairs

Repainting of units

Support cleaner as needed

Inspect/test all outlets & fixtures

Inspect/test all appliances

Inspect/test all locks

Inspect/test all plumbing fixtures

Inspect/check heat/A.C

Support the completion of daily work order requests from occupied apartments

Support refuse management at mid-rise and townhouse apartments

Support snow removal when needed

Inspection of all mechanicals in the apartments and notify superintendent with issues or concerns.
